My name is Virginie, and I'm an art therapy practitioner, a teacher of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and currently training in Cognitive, Behavioral and Emotional Therapy (CBET). My journey is above all a personal and human adventure, nourished by my life experience, my passions, and a deep desire to help others overcome their challenges, big or small.
In my teaching approach, art therapy is a real lever for learning French. Through creative activities - drawing, painting, collage, intuitive writing or modeling - my learners, whether beginners or post-alpha, appropriate the language in a sensory and playful way. Far from traditional methods, art helps to free expression, overcome blocks and learn without fear of judgment. Each session is designed to combine language acquisition and well-being, offering a caring learning environment where emotion and creativity become powerful motors for progress in French.
It was my personal experience that led me to become an art therapy practitioner. For me, art was a powerful means of expression when words failed me. Today, I guide people on this same journey, where the unconscious expresses itself through unique creations. I'm just a guide: it's my customers who, through their own creativity, find the keys to moving forward and overcoming their emotions or traumas. Each step forward, each smile at the end of the session, is a priceless treasure.
Certified in art therapy, I draw on the teachings of the pioneers of this discipline. My approaches can be adapted to a variety of precarious situations and experiences, and my sessions take place on an individual, group or videoconference basis. When deep-rooted trauma is present, I use art to promote acceptance and resilience, complementing professional psychological care if necessary.
Teaching French was a dream I'd never been able to realize... until now. Since January, I've been training for the DAEFLE exam, which I'll be taking very soon. Since June, I've had the pleasure of teaching FLE, and my speciality is helping adults with little or no schooling. Teaching them to read, write and speak French is much more than passing on a language: it's offering them a key to life in a foreign country.
I try to make my lessons lively and fun, using games, songs and mnemonics to make learning accessible and enjoyable. Each session is an enrichment for me, as I discover a little more about the cultures and histories of my learners. As a teacher, I'm also a learner: their journeys and resilience inspire me every day.
Always keen to broaden my skills to better support my clients and learners, I am currently training in Cognitive, Behavioural and Emotional Therapy (CBET). This approach, which focuses on thoughts, emotions and behaviors, enriches my art therapy and teaching practices. My aim is to offer support that is even more adapted to the specific needs of each individual.
I'm driven by a sincere desire to help, and my motivation can't be measured in numbers. My aim is to see my art therapy clients and FLE learners emerge with smiles on their faces. Of course, I'm aware of my limits and don't hesitate to recommend a health professional if necessary.
Outside my professional activities, I love nature, music, dance, animals and even driving. Music plays a key role in my method: it soothes, stimulates creativity and opens unsuspected doors to expression.
My work is above all a human exchange, where everyone finds their place, develops and learns at their own pace. My aim? To accompany you on your journey, whether it's to explore your emotions through art or to master the French language.
I'm delighted to be sharing this adventure with you, and look forward to contributing to your well-being and success!
